Our commitment
Linedata is committed to the protection of personal data and acts in compliance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (Brazil’s General Data Protection Law, LGPD) and with the regulations of the ANPD (Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority).
Roles
In the processing of personal data related to the balance.ia.br website and the Balance product, Linedata acts in the following capacities:
- Controller, with respect to data collected directly by the website (contact form and technical access records)
- Processor, with respect to the data of corporate customers processed by the Balance platform, under the service agreement
LGPD principles applied
Our processing operations observe the principles established in Art. 6 of the LGPD:
- Purpose: processing for legitimate, specific and disclosed purposes
- Adequacy: compatibility with the disclosed purposes
- Necessity: limitation to the minimum necessary
- Free access: easy consultation by data subjects
- Data quality: accuracy, clarity and up to date information
- Transparency: clear information about the processing
- Security: technical and administrative measures
- Prevention: adoption of measures to prevent harm
- Nondiscrimination: prohibition of processing for discriminatory purposes
- Accountability: demonstration of the adoption of effective measures
Data subject rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Confirm the existence of processing
- Access your data
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
- Anonymize, block or delete unnecessary or excessive data
- Port data to another provider
- Delete data processed on the basis of consent
- Obtain information about sharing
- Withdraw consent
- Object to processing carried out on grounds that waive consent
- Request the review of automated decisions
How to exercise your rights
To exercise any right provided for in the LGPD, contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO):

- Response time: up to 15 (fifteen) days from the request
Security incidents
In the event of a security incident that may result in relevant risk or harm to data subjects, Linedata will notify the ANPD and the affected data subjects within 3 (three) business days of becoming aware that the incident affected personal data, in accordance with the Security Incident Reporting Regulation (Resolution CD/ANPD No. 15/2024).
