1. Acceptance

By accessing and using the balance.ia.br website (hereinafter the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About Balance

Balance is a product of LINEDATA INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL LTDA (CNPJ 53.733.688/0001-85), an enterprise decision intelligence layer for water, wastewater and energy utilities. This Site is institutional and informational in nature.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Site to:

  • Learn about the features and differentiators of the Balance product
  • Request business contact or a demonstration
  • Obtain information about Balance and its services

4. Prohibited use

It is expressly prohibited to use the Site to:

  • Engage in illegal activities or activities that violate the rights of third parties
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data
  • Collect information about other users without authorization
  • Distribute viruses, malware or malicious code
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code
  • Reproduce, copy or distribute content from the Site without authorization
  • Access the Site with bots or automated tools that disregard the rules in the robots.txt file or that overload its infrastructure

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including texts, images, videos, logos, trademarks, diagrams, source code, visual identity and information architecture, is the exclusive property of Linedata or used under license, and is protected by Brazilian copyright and industrial property laws.

Any use without prior and express authorization is prohibited.

6. Trademarks

“Balance” and the other associated trademarks are owned by Linedata. Any other trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

7. Third party content and external links

The Site may contain links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of these external websites.

8. Availability

We strive to keep the Site continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Site may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or due to events beyond our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Linedata is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based solely on information from the Site, without prior business consultation
  • Interruptions, technical failures or loss of data arising from the use of the Site
  • Indirect damages, loss of profits or consequential losses

10. Privacy and data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and by our LGPD page.

11. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be modified at any time. Material changes will be prominently announced on the Site. Continued use after the changes constitutes tacit acceptance.

12. Jurisdiction and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the judicial district of Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, are elected to settle any disputes, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be.

13. Language

These Terms are also published in Portuguese and Spanish. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
